La Preghiera is furnished beautifully throughout offering comfort and luxury.  All ten bedrooms are furnished and decorated to a very high standard and are complete with an en-suite marble bathroom.  For those of you that would like more than 20 people to share in your special day, La Preghiera can make arrangements for additional guests to stay at nearby ‘Agriturismi’, converted farm houses. 

The Chapel décor is simple and elegant, complete with several wall mounted candlesticks and floor standing silver candelabra.

Perhaps most importantly, LA Preghiera is unique as the monastery is one of the few historic buildings with a chapel in the grounds to create the perfect scene for a very special day.  Ceremonies can be celebrated by priests and vicars who perform legal wedding services in English and Italian in the Chapel.  This is extremely rare as most times religious ceremonies take place in the village church and the legal wedding in the Comune (Town Hall).  Therefore, you and your guests don’t need to worry about travel to and from different venues.

Whether your wedding is in the Spring & Summer months with guests and celebrations spreading out into the well stocked gardens; or in Autumn with the surrounding scenery rich in colour, the smell of roast chestnuts and guests gathered around log fires, La Preghiera is the most perfect place to be amongst friends and family on such a special occasion.
