The Perfect Venue for a Perfect Wedding Day!

La Preghiera is a luxurious country estate, recently converted from a monastic complex dating back to the late 1100’s when it was occupied by the Mont’Ulivetani di Gubbio Friars.  The foundations of the Chapel were laid first by the monastery, which would have been the living quarters for the monks.  The main house is now known as La Preghiera which translates as ‘The Prayer’.



Owned and managed by Liliana Tunstill and her husband John, La Preghiera is set in some fifty acres of open farm land with wonderful country walks in all directions.  It is situated on a quiet road just half a mile from the village of Calzolaro.
