Jo’s story, Prada trip to Italy.

A well organised, (not military style) professional trip that enabled me to indulge on several levels.

1. Spend time with friends (as life normally doesn’t permit)
2. Shop till I dropped
3. Feel relaxed and pampered in a venue that is so welcoming.

As a first timer to Italy, I really did not know what to expect.  So, I arrived armed with oodles of Euros and lots of room on the plastic.

We arrived on a sunny Friday mid morning in November, after leaving a wet and windy Newcastle airport.  Things were looking good already. We were greeted by our ‘chauffeur’ for the weekend and boarded our coach to La Preghiera.

Words cannot describe, the sight of La Preghiera. We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and the warmest welcome I have ever received. This is not a hotel it is a home that you are welcomed into with open arms.  I was not disappointed in anyway, and the rooms spoke for themselves, under floor heating, dressing gowns and slippers for you to decant into.
